SolarLab Research and Design has come up with the Hydrogen Powerplant, a concept powerplant that canbe one of the safest and the most efficient ways to create hydrogen. Theoffshore power plant is designed to make use of seawater, a fuel celland Solar Tiles to produce hydrogen that is then pumped safely toinflated hydrogen tanks fixed on the sea floor. The water-coolingeffect reduces operating temperature and increases PV efficiency by upto 30%. Sincehydrogen is stored underwater, the design eliminates explosion risks aswater naturally pressurizes the system at ideal level.
