Windreich on track with 400MW wind farm 6 Aug 2012 German-based Windreich is to begin the construction of a 400MW offshore wind farm in the North Sea, off the coast from the Netherlands. The company commence the installation of 80 turbines, with individual outputs of 5MW, within the next few days. A self-installing Alstom substation will be towed from a shipyard in Rotterdam to the 43 square kilometre construction site. Full completion of the project is due in 2013.
