Renewable Energy and Climate Change - (blog)

Robert Rapier is an extremely senior journalist in the energy industry, and a very cool guy as well. When I got into this industry a few years ago, he was one of the first people I contacted; we had a nice talk during which I developed a great deal of respect for him. Having said that, I think he’s on the wrong side of a few issues in the article that he wrote here , and I’d like to take this opportunity to make a few specific comments. Robert doesn’t buy the concept that is often mentioned regarding climate change, “The science is settled.” He writes: (It) is just not a statement that I am comfortable with, and I am uncomfortable labeling those who question climate change with something that evokes comparisons with Holocaust denial….. Not all skeptics are idiots. But not all proponents are well-informed…” True. And who objects to honest skepticism on this or any other top...
