Sungrow’s overseas PV inverter shipments up nearly 50% in 2014

Sungrow Power Supply has reported preliminary 2014 shipments, which include around 20% growth in China and 47% shipment growth overseas, compared to the previous year. Major PV inverter manufacturer Sungrow Power Supply has reported preliminary 2014 shipments, which include around 20% growth in China and 47% shipment growth overseas, compared to the previous year. Sungrow said ahead of releasing full-year financial results due in early March that it received a total of around 5.89GW of orders in 2014. The company noted that it had shipped a total of 4.23GW. Domestic orders were around 3.8GW. Sungrow said that it exported around 430MW of PV inverters outside China in 2014, compared to 293MW in 2013, a 47% increase year-on-year.
