Boeing, Airbus and Embraer to push aviation biofuels 23 Mar 2012 Aviation companies Boeing , Airbus and Embraer have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on the development of biofuels for aircrafts. The three airplane manufacturers will look to communicate with governments, biofuel producers and other key stakeholders to promote and accelerate the availability of sustainable jet fuel. Jim Albaugh, CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said, ‘There are times to compete and there are times to cooperate.
