Solar provider to expand to Massachusetts Friday, March 16th 2012 3:57 PM By GetSolar Staff. One of the leading solar providers in the country recently announced that it is expanding its operations into Massachusetts to answer a growing demand for solar energy in the among residential and commercial property owners in the East Coast region. 1st Light Energy's new office will be located in the area of Waltham, Massachusetts, and the company plans to hire 20 people to staff the office and warehouse within the next couple months. The solar installation company, which provides solar energy solutions in New Jersey and California, is also planning on setting up offices in Hartford, Connecticut, this summer and New Hampshire or Maine over the next 12 months. 1st Light has a significant customer base already in Massachusetts and is looking to expand its service to provide customer...
