Grid Parity First for IKEA in Italy: The first unsubsidized solar plant.

In a system with significant solar, levelized cost of electricity grid parity payments implies massive subsidies. It does not imply non-subsidized solar. In a free market the price of electricity varies. As one approaches 10% of all electricity per year being generated by solar, one has mid-day periods starting in late spring where solar approaches total electricity demand. When that happens the price of electricity drops to zero in a free market. Paying PV owners for the average prices of electricity over the year when its actual value when produced is near zero is a massive subsidy. Somebody else has to pickup the bill. In most of the world, this is the poor pay the subsidies through their electrical bills because they do not have the power to rig the system in their favor.
