Amer. Council for #EnergyEfficient Economy (@ACEEEdc) reacts to #SOTU: #ASHRAE #energyefficiency #greenjobs

Tonight President Obama stated that "the easiest way to save money is to waste less energy." We couldn't agree more. Our research has found that energy efficiency is our cheapest and cleanest energy resource. As the President said, if we waste less energy, "America will have less pollution, more manufacturing, and more jobs for construction workers who need them." In his State of the Union address the President proposed to help manufacturers eliminate energy waste in their factories and give businesses incentives to upgrade their buildings. This is a worthwhile objective and we look forward to learning more about his proposal.
