The US and China must end their ongoing trade row or jeopardise the solar industry’s global growth, the CEO of Chinese module manufacturer Wuxi Suntech has warned. Eric Luo called for the adoption of the settlement proposed by the US Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). Under that plan, existing trade duties between the two nations would be revoked and Chinese firms would make payments to a fund that would be used to develop the US solar industry.
