August 24, 2017 Las Vegas, NV- Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, continues to expand its advanced cylinder rod coating technology that resists corrosion up to eight times longer than conventional coatings. The Global ShieldTM coating was specifically designed to meet the corrosion, caustic, impact, chemical and salt water resistance requirements of challenging industrial and outdoor environments while avoiding the detrimental environmental impacts caused by current plating technologies. The coating's use will be featured on rod cylinders in Parker's Hybrid Actuation System, which will be on display in the SPI 2017 Parker booth #1545- At the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV - Sept 10-13 in the solar panel actuation demo.
